Important: Heatmap does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data is processed locally in your browser.

- Purpose: To cache cryptocurrency data for offline use
- Data stored: Cryptocurrency prices, symbols, and settings
- Location: Only in your browser's local storage
- Transmission: Never sent to external servers
2. External API Requests
- Bybit API: We fetch public cryptocurrency data from Bybit's public API
- Data retrieved: Only public market data (prices, volumes)
- No personal data: API requests contain no user identifiers
- Rate limiting: We respect API limits to ensure fair usage
3. Extension Permissions
- Storage permission: Required to save your settings locally
- Host permission (api.bybit.com): Required to fetch market data
- No other permissions: We don't request access to bookmarks, history, or personal data
What We DO NOT Collect

Your Rights and Controls
Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Clear cache: Use the "Clear Cache" button in Debug Panel
- Remove extension: Uninstalling removes all local data
- Export data: Use "Export Data" feature to download your cache
Browser Controls
You can also manage extension data through Chrome's settings:
- chrome://extensions → Heatmap → Details → "Remove data"
- Browser settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → "Cached data"
Security
While we don't collect personal data, we implement security measures:
- All data stays in your browser's sandbox
- No external data transmission (except public API calls)
- Regular security reviews of our code
- Open-source code for transparency
Note: This extension deals with financial data. We recommend:
- Keep your browser updated
- Use antivirus software
- Be cautious of phishing attempts
